Hospital Stay in 1st Class

In the event of a minor or medium surgery, including childbirth, the Prestaplus benefit plan reimburses the costs of a hospital stay in a single room in Luxembourg.

Medical costs

In the event of minor or medium surgery, including childbirth, the Prestaplus benefit plan covers the additional medical fees for a hospital stay in 1st class. In the absence of surgery, this contribution is limited to 50 days per calendar year.  

Ambulance Transport costs

The CMCM reimburses the costs of ambulance transport, duly authorised by the health insurance, up to 30% of the official rate and a maximum of €150 per calendar year.

The CMCM will pay the cost of one (1) ambulance transport per calendar year not reimbursed by the health insurance company, up to a maximum of €100.

Lipœdema (Stage II)

Up to €2,000/year in the event of surgery.

Long-Covid Cure

Contribution towards the cost of a treatment for persisting COVID-19 symptoms, duly authorised by the health insurance, up to 20% of the official tariff.

Preventative Medecine

Cardiology

Stress test: The CMCM helps cover any uncovered costs for stress tests that have been authorised by the health insurance provider at up to €10 per calendar year (in addition to the €15 provided by the Régime Commun). 

Orthopaedic insoles 

The CMCM covers the costs of orthopaedic insoles that have been authorized by the health insurance provider at up to €150 per member per year. 

David Health Rehabilitation Program for the back, shoulders, and neck

The CMCM supports the David Health concept, offered by Domaine Thermal Mondorf, a rehabilitation program for chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain that activates the entire body to eliminate pain and facilitate daily movement.
The CMCM reimburses any uncovered costs for members who have completed 24 sessions of the David Health rehabilitation program.

Alternative Medicine: Osteopathy, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture, Laser Therapy

CMCM covers the costs of treatments related to alternative medicine up to €50 per session, with an overall annual limit of €100 per calendar year for all these treatments combined.

This coverage applies to treatments provided by:

  • an osteopath holding a recognised diploma in osteopathy;

  • a chiropractor holding a recognised diploma in chiropractic care;

  • a healthcare professional authorised to practise acupuncture;

  • a physician for laser therapy.

PROTEA (up to €2,000)

A therapeutic program for emotional exhaustion (burnout), offered and developed by the GesondheetsZentrum of the Robert Schuman Hospital Foundation.

Psychological monitoring

The CMCM covers consultations for children under 18 years of age carried out by a certified psychologist at up to a maximum amount of €100 per calendar year.

Psychotherapeutic care

Coverage of adult consultations with a psychotherapist approved by health insurance, up to a maximum of €40 per calendar year.
