Your Role

The Application Support & DevOps Engineer provides advanced support for a portfolio of CMCM applications and drives deployment automation and delivery chain security for the entire application team. He or she will join two application engineers on the IT Operations team, which currently consists of five people reporting to the Head of IT Operations & Security.

You will report to the Head of IT Operations & Security and work with the infrastructure and security team, business analysts, product owners, developers from the Digital Factory, and vendors.

  • Monitor performance, analyze logs and errors, and identify the root causes of incidents.
  • Assess the technical feasibility of business requirements: integrations, data flows, and APIs.

Delivery automation - about one-third of the time

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines: builds, automated tests, deployment, and rollbacks.
  • Make environments reproducible, including on Azure.
  • Automate manual operations and reduce risks during production deployments.
  • Define requirements for vendors to ensure deployable and logged deliverables.

Application pipeline security

  • Integrate security checks for code, dependencies, and secrets into the pipelines.
  • Fix application vulnerabilities and track audit findings until they are resolved.
  • Provide the team and the Digital Factory with pipeline templates, security checks, and access to production; developers build their own pipelines based on these templates.
