Digital Transformation Analyst (M/F) - Permanent Contract

The Digital Transformation Analyst leads the on-the-ground modernization of CMCM’s internal management tools across human resources, finance, and marketing functions. He supports the gradual replacement of existing tools with off-the-shelf solutions that are easier to operate and better integrated with one another, prioritizing consistency and consolidation of the application landscape, tailored to a Digitalization team of manageable size.
For each project, they are involved from start to finish, from requirements gathering through to implementation. The direction of each project remains open: they contribute directly to decision-making, in collaboration with the Chief Digital Officer and internal teams.

You will report to the CDO and will be involved in the following tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Needs Assessment and Scope Definition

  • Meet with the relevant teams (human resources, finance, marketing, etc.) to understand their needs, constraints, and priorities.
  • Document the requirements in a requirements specification, drafted or compiled based on information provided by the business units.
  • Facilitate workshops with business teams to clarify the scope, use cases, and priorities.

2. Solution Selection

  • Research and compare solutions available on the market that are suited to each requirement, using objective criteria: functional coverage, cost, ease of integration, and vendor lock-in.
  • Document the trade-offs between specialized solutions and more general-purpose solutions.
  • Formulate a well-reasoned recommendation; the final decision is approved by the Chief Digital Officer and the relevant business unit.

3. Project Management and Implementation

  • Manage each project from start to finish: schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders, and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate external service providers (software vendors, integrators) responsible for technical implementation, and ensure that deadlines and commitments are met.
  • Work with internal technical teams on architecture, integration with existing systems, and security.
  • Ensure data migration and service continuity during the transition from the legacy system.

4. Overall Consistency

  • Identify projects that could be consolidated onto a single platform, in order to propose a phased approach rather than projects carried out independently of one another.
  • Report on progress and priorities to the Chief Digital Officer.

5. Vendor Relations

  • Manage relationships with software vendors and integrators—defining scope of work, monitoring progress, and conducting acceptance testing.
  • Notify the Chief Digital Officer if contractual or budgetary arbitration is needed.

Profile:

You have at least five (5) years of experience in a functional analysis role, focusing on requirements gathering, scoping, and drafting specifications, and have completed certified training programs in the field of IT.

Technical Skills:

  • Fluency in French is required; knowledge of Luxembourgish or English is a plus
  • Proven experience in project management, with active involvement in at least one project to replace or implement a management tool, carried out through to deployment.
  • Ability to independently analyze business needs and draft clear, structured, and comprehensive specifications.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings with a variety of business stakeholders.
  • Ability to objectively evaluate market solutions and formulate well-reasoned recommendations.
  • A pragmatic approach suited to a small-to-medium-sized organization: prioritizing simplicity and overall consistency over the “best” option for each individual need when considered in isolation.
  • Experience with Odoo or another modular software ecosystem covering multiple management functions (ERP, CRM, HRIS, invoicing, contract management, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the relevant fields (HR, finance, marketing) is a plus.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Results-oriented and able to translate business needs into concrete solutions.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Independence, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail in documenting and tracking projects.
