Yes, you are entitled to reimbursement even in this situation.
We require copies of the invoice and the reimbursement statement issued by your health insurance fund. For dental implants, X-rays must also be provided.
If you submit your request via myCMCM, the app will guide you step by step through the process and indicate which documents are required. This allows you to submit your request easily and ensures that your file is complete before it is sent.
The basic coverage, known as the RÉGIME COMMUN, already covers a number of dental costs. However, with the optional coverage DENTA & OPTIPLUS, you benefit from enhanced reimbursement, not only for dental costs but also for costs related, for example, to the purchase of glasses, contact lenses or refractive surgery.
No, submitting a dental quote before the start of treatment is not mandatory. However, if you would like to know the reimbursable amount, you may send us a copy of the dental quote approved or refused by your health insurance fund.
Care abroad
In this case, please provide us with the referral request from your doctor and the authorisation issued by your health insurance fund (S2 form).
CMCM-Assistance is automatically included in the basic coverage known as the RÉGIME COMMUN. It provides 24/7 assistance available in the event of sudden illness or accident during a temporary stay abroad.
The assistance includes, in particular:
- unlimited medically supervised transport and repatriation;
- coverage of hospitalisation and medical costs up to €100,000 per member and per incident.
It also extends to outpatient treatment not involving surgery. After the health insurance fund has contributed, CMCM covers the remaining balance of medical, associated healthcare and medico-dental costs up to a maximum of €2,500 per member per calendar year.
Members who are studying or undertaking voluntary work abroad may also benefit from this assistance.
